Product Description
The Raspberry Pi 2 Model B is the second-generation Raspberry Pi single-board computer, designed to provide significantly improved processing performance while maintaining compatibility with the Raspberry Pi ecosystem.
The original Raspberry Pi 2 Model B was introduced with a 900MHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 processor and 1GB of LPDDR2 RAM, providing a substantial performance improvement over the previous Raspberry Pi generation. Later revisions of the Raspberry Pi 2 Model B use the BCM2837/B0 processor with a quad-core 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53 CPU.
The board provides a 40-pin GPIO header for connecting sensors, displays, motors, relays, and other electronic modules. It also includes four USB 2.0 ports, 100Mbps Ethernet, a full-size HDMI port, a microSD card slot, and dedicated CSI camera and DSI display interfaces.
With its compact form factor and extensive connectivity, the Raspberry Pi 2 Model B is suitable for a wide range of applications including embedded computing, robotics, automation, education, media projects, networked devices, and prototyping.
