Shipping & Returns
1. Order Preparation & Processing Time
Orders are prepared and processed within 1–2 business days unless otherwise stated.
Please note that order preparation time is different from shipping time shown during checkout when selecting the shipping company.
The shipping time displayed represents only the delivery duration after the order has been handed over to the shipping carrier.
Orders are processed during normal business days, Monday through Saturday (Sunday is a non-working day for RAM Electronics), excluding official government holidays.
2. Shipping & Home Delivery
You may have your product delivered via one of our available home delivery options.
Orders are delivered on normal business days (Saturday through Thursday, excluding government holidays).
Delivery times are estimates provided by shipping carriers and are not guaranteed by RAM Electronics.
Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the order has been handed over to the shipping carrier.
Order information such as billing or shipping address that is inaccurate or incomplete may result in delays. Products cannot be shipped to incomplete addresses.
In cases where delivery is refused for reasons other than receiving incorrect items, the customer agrees to pay all shipping charges incurred as specified on the invoice.
3. Shipping Charges
All shipping charges are calculated based on a flat shipping rate displayed at checkout before order confirmation. Actual shipping costs may vary depending on the final packaging requirements.
For orders with large weight, oversized dimensions, or items requiring special packaging, shipping costs may increase beyond the amount shown on the website during checkout.
Additionally, for orders where Cash on Delivery (COD) is selected as the payment method and the total order value exceeds EGP 3,000, a cash handling fee of 1% will be applied only to the amount exceeding EGP 3,000.
This additional fee applies exclusively to Cash on Delivery orders.
No additional fees will be applied when payment is completed using:
- InstaPay
- Bank Transfer
- Credit/Debit Card
- Electronic Wallet payments
If any additional shipping or handling fees apply, a member of the RAM Electronics sales team will contact the customer first to explain the charges. Shipment processing will proceed only after receiving customer approval.
4. Order Verification & Payment Confirmation
For security, delivery accuracy, and fraud prevention purposes, some orders may be subject to verification before shipment.
Orders with small order values, orders placed by new customers, or orders containing unclear or incomplete shipping addresses may require confirmation through a phone call or WhatsApp communication from the RAM Electronics sales team prior to shipment.
In certain cases, RAM Electronics may request advance payment of the order value or shipping charges before processing and dispatching the order.
Shipment will proceed only after successful order verification and/or payment confirmation when required.
RAM Electronics reserves the right to delay or cancel any order that cannot be verified or confirmed.
Failure to respond to verification contact attempts may result in order cancellation.
5. Store Pickup Orders (Self Collection)
Orders selected for Store Pickup are prepared upon the customer’s arrival at the RAM Electronics branch and are not prepared in advance, even if the order has been prepaid online.
Upon arrival, order preparation and processing may require additional time depending on the number of items and requested quantities, and may take up to one business day in certain cases. For large orders or bulk quantities, customers are advised to contact the RAM Electronics sales team by phone prior to visiting the store to arrange preparation in advance.
Some items may become unavailable due to real-time stock movement. The customer will be informed after arriving at the branch and providing the order number to the sales representative.
Store pickup orders can only be collected during the official working hours of RAM Electronics.
If payment has already been completed and any item becomes partially or fully unavailable, the unavailable item value will be refunded to the customer using the same original payment method.
6. Order Cancellations
Online orders cannot be refunded after confirmation (when clicking the Confirm Order button) until the product has been received by the customer and returned according to the Returns Policy.

7. Returns Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with a product, RAM Electronics may exchange or refund the purchase — at its sole discretion — within 14 days from the purchase date or shipping date, subject to the following conditions:
- Products that include pins, leads, wires, terminals (and are not in sealed packaging) - such as ICs, transistors, motors, etc. - are not eligible for a refund.
- Products must be unused.
- Product boxes and packing materials must remain in their original condition.
- The product packaging must be unopened.
- Original purchase invoice must be included.
- All items must be returned complete with all accessories, manuals, and original documentation.
- Returns apply to physical products only and do not apply to services.
- Refund value does not include any shipping charges.
- All returns must be shipped freight prepaid (return shipping paid by customer), or returned directly to our store during working hours.
- Partial returns from bundled or promotional orders may affect applied discounts and may result in refund adjustments.
RAM Electronics reserves the right to refuse any return that does not comply with this policy.
8. Return of Unused & Unopened Products
Customers wishing to return products that were delivered but not opened or used must ship the items to:

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
RAM Electronics may assist in arranging return shipping upon request. Shipping fees charged by the courier will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Refund processing will begin only after:
- Receiving the returned product
- Inspecting the item
- Confirming the product has not been opened or used and remains in original condition
9. Electronic Components & Opened Products
Electronic components, modules, integrated circuits (ICs), sensors, and electronic devices cannot be returned or exchanged once opened or used, except in confirmed cases of manufacturing defects.
Products damaged due to incorrect installation, misuse, electrical overload, or improper handling are not considered manufacturing defects.
10. Defective Products (Manufacturing Defects)
A manufacturing defect is defined as a product that does not function according to its intended specifications, either partially or completely, under normal operating conditions.
Some products may require technical inspection before confirming the defect. Customers may be required to send the product to RAM Electronics for evaluation. Final assessment will be performed by RAM Electronics engineers. Inspection and evaluation time may vary depending on product type and testing requirements.
All claims related to shortages, misshipments, missbillings, or defective products must be reported within 3 days from the delivery date confirmed by the shipping company.
11. Warranty Policy
Products covered under warranty are clearly marked in our website with a Warranty Tag indicating warranty availability and duration.
Warranty service is provided by the original manufacturer unless otherwise stated.
RAM Electronics may assist customers in communicating with manufacturers regarding warranty service, provided that the customer sends the product to:

Shipping to RAM Electronics for warranty handling is arranged and paid by the customer.
12. Refund Method
Approved refunds will be issued via InstaPay instant bank transfer or another approved electronic payment method to the customer.
13. Refund Processing Time
Refunds are processed within 7 business days after receiving, inspecting, and approving the returned product.
14. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate shipping information
- Proper packaging when returning items
- Paying return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed
Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in refusal of return or refund.
15. Policy Updates
RAM Electronics reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our website.
