Full Product Description
The NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 8GB Developer Kit provides an accessible and powerful platform for developing modern edge-AI applications.
At the heart of the system is the Jetson Orin Nano 8GB module, featuring an NVIDIA Ampere architecture GPU with 1,024 NVIDIA CUDA Cores and 32 Tensor Cores, combined with a 6-core Arm Cortex-A78AE v8.2 64-bit CPU and 8GB of 128-bit LPDDR5 memory. The original configuration provides up to 40 INT8 TOPS of AI performance.
NVIDIA's JetPack software platform enables the same hardware to operate in Super Mode, increasing performance to up to 67 INT8 TOPS (Sparse), with GPU frequency up to 1.02 GHz, CPU frequency up to 1.7 GHz, and memory bandwidth up to 102 GB/s. NVIDIA states that previous Jetson Orin Nano Developer Kits can use the new performance mode after upgrading to the appropriate JetPack software.
The developer kit includes a reference carrier board with extensive I/O for connecting cameras, sensors, storage devices, displays, networking equipment, and robotics peripherals. It is particularly well suited for AI vision, robotics, autonomous systems, industrial automation, edge computing, and AI research and development.
