Product Title
iMAX B6 80W 5A Professional Digital Balance Charger / Discharger for LiPo, LiFe, LiIon, NiMH, NiCd & Pb Batteries
Description
The iMAX B6 is an advanced, high-performance microprocessor-controlled charge, discharge, and balancing system designed for all mainstream rechargeable battery chemistry types. Delivering up to 80W charging power and a maximum charge current of 5A, it provides efficient, accurate, and safe charging for RC models, robotics, drone battery packs, and DIY electronics projects.
Equipped with an integrated individual cell voltage balancer, the iMAX B6 monitors and balances individual cells within Lithium packs (LiPo, LiIon, LiFe) without needing a separate exterior balancer. Its two-line LCD screen offers real-time status updates, including individual cell voltages, total charge voltage, capacity, and current flow. Built with comprehensive security features like Delta-Peak sensitivity termination, automatic charging current limit, capacity limits, and safety timers, the iMAX B6 guarantees maximum safety and optimal battery lifespan.

How to Use
1. Connecting Power & Battery
- Connect an 11–18V DC power source or power adapter to the input power jack on the left side of the charger.
- Plug the main charge leads into the 4mm banana output sockets (+ Red, - Black) on the right side.
- For Lithium battery packs (LiPo/LiFe/LiIon), connect the pack's main power lead to the output banana lead and plug its balance connector directly into the matching balance socket (2S, 3S, 4S, 5S, or 6S JST-XH port).
2. Selecting Program Settings
- Press the BATT. TYPE / STOP button to cycle through battery chemistry modes (LiPo, NiMH, NiCd, Pb, or User Set).
- Press START / ENTER to enter the selected battery menu.
- Use INC (Increase) and DEC (Decrease) to select the desired process (e.g., LiPo BALANCE, LiPo CHARGE, LiPo FAST CHG, or LiPo STORAGE).
3. Adjusting Charge Current & Voltage
- Press START / ENTER so the parameter value starts blinking.
- Use INC / DEC to adjust the charging current (A) and target cell count/voltage.
- Press START / ENTER to confirm each parameter setting.
4. Starting & Stopping the Operation
- Press and hold the START / ENTER button for 3 seconds.
- The charger will inspect the battery connection (CONFIRM (ENTER) / CANCEL (STOP)).
- Press START / ENTER again to commence charging.
- To halt operation at any point, press the BATT. TYPE / STOP button once.
Safety Notes & Warnings
- Always Connect Charge Leads First: Always connect the charging leads to the charger before plugging them into the battery pack to prevent accidental short circuits.
- Never Leave Unattended: Never leave a charging battery unattended. Always operate on a fire-resistant, heat-insulated surface away from flammable materials.
- Verify Chemistry & Cell Count: Double-check that you have selected the exact battery type (e.g., LiPo vs. LiFe) and nominal voltage before starting the charge sequence.
- DC Power Source Voltage: Ensure input DC supply voltage remains strictly within the 11V–18V range.
