Description:

FTDI's USB to TTL Serial Cables are built around the FT232RL chipset, offering a quick and easy method to link devices with a TTL level serial interface to USB connections. These cables are equipped with a 6-way SIL, 0.1″ (2.54) connector, and operate at TTL levels of 3.3V. The TTL-232R series includes USB to TTL serial UART converter cables that feature the FTDI FT232RQ USB to serial UART interface IC, which manages all necessary USB signaling and protocols. Each TTL-232R cable contains a small internal circuit board that incorporates the FT232R, which is encapsulated within the USB connector end of the cable. The opposite end is designed with various connectors to support a wide range of applications.
