Product Description

The BTA41-600B is a high-power, glass-passivated bidirectional AC switch (TRIAC) engineered for heavy-duty industrial switching and phase control applications. Capable of handling continuous root mean square (RMS) on-state currents up to 40 Amperes with a peak repetitive off-state voltage rating of 600 Volts, it provides robust power handling in demanding AC load environments.

Housed in a TOP-3 insulated metal tab package, the BTA41 series features internal ceramic isolation providing 2500 Volts RMS dielectric isolation between the internal semiconductor junctions and the external cooling tab. This isolated package design allows for direct mounting onto grounded heat sinks without requiring separate insulating mica washers or thermal pads.
